New Forecast Charts on Snow-Reports.ca

Snowfall and Weather Forecast for Resorts in Western Canada

A few months ago we added the snowfall forecast maps to help you find where the snow was going to fall. We're testing some new charts to help provide a few more details on snow conditions and weather at your favourite ski resorts in Western Canada. Here's a sample:

On each of the ski resort pages on our site there's now a 'Forecast' tab which has charts showing forecast wind, snowfall, and temperature over the next 48h period. To make you think a little, we're not able to (easily) switch the timezone that is displayed, so keep in mind the times are in 'Zulu' time or UTC. If you add 7 hours to MST or 8 to PST, you'll get UTC and it all makes sense.

Keep in mind that actual temperatures, wind & precipitation may vary significantly based on aspect, elevation, local variations, and uncertainty in the forecast model. We can't vouch for the accuracy of these charts, so please don't use them for making important decisions...

Cheers!
